Detection modes

• Axiom has four search mode options: fine, normal, large and salt. Each search mode is optimized for specific types of detection, as detailed below.
• Factory default mode is good, press the MENU button until MODE is selected, then use the Menu Plus (+) or (-) button to select the desired mode, press the power button to exit the menu or press MENU to continue to the next menu item

1- Placing raw gold

• Provides maximum detection on small, low conductivity targets (such as pure gold and gold sample) while providing better detection than most medium and large targets.
• Due to this increased sensitivity to small/precise targets, FINE mode can be more vulnerable to ground metals and hot rocks.

2- Normal mode

• Provides very good detection of all size targets, Normal mode will be less reactive in highly mineralized soil, but will reduce detection of very small targets.

3- The big situation

• Maintains robust detection of large targets while reducing small and medium targets. Importantly, this mode reduces susceptibility to high mineral ground and hot rocks.

4- Apply salt water

• Designed for use in wet salt content mineralized areas, primarily for wet salt water beaches
• The mode may also be useful for dry inland salt lakes and goldfields with high salt content, depending on the humidity level, but it is recommended to try other modes for these indoor conditions.
